One wall torch made in Studio max. Animated flame with a 
dummied bouncing omni light. Wall sconce and torch are seperate 
for walking down dark hallways. Flame is a simple Space Warp 
called Wave. This file was created in Studio Max r3.

The flame is a simple mesh. A gradient radial fill with a 
fading transparency is all that i used for the flame. A rotating 
animating wave space warp controls the spin and pitch of 
the flame. An additional bounding dummy ball controls the 
omni light. The metal is a 3dsmax base 3d texture with some 
perlin marble on top.

Simple wall is a textured plane, one more light is added 
to the scene but not needed by your torch. Drag the torch 
and you will see what all is linked and attached.
