This max archive contains two files, you only need one of the files to use this tool:

1.)  3dtrue-RealCollapse.mcr - This is a macroscript. If you put it in your C:\3dsmax6\UI\MacroScripts 
folder, you can add this tool to your max toolbar.

1.)  RealCollapse.ms - This is a maxscript file. If you put it in your C:\3dsmax6\scripts\startup folder, 
it will load at start-up and appear in your maxscript utilities menu. You can also just keep it in your 
scripts folder and launch from the "Run Maxscript" menu
