Thread 262 Topic - 262 Missing file?

THREAD:262 ID:262Missing file?...I've just purchased Poserspeak thru Renderosity and am still operating it on the temp' licence.
Apart from the initial disappointment about the lack of voices shipped with the product, I also found that, although a script previews OK, when I've tried to "Save" it the program asks for a missing pz2 file. I've tried 2 different heads and both have returned this error message. The file asked for the second time (sorry, I didn't note the first) was [af_1199517493.pz2] Now I know this is a Poser file, but I can't find it anywhere in my POSER 6 installation either. The script then asks if it should continue to run but the resulting animation is rather incomplete. Is this a known issue? Also I got Version 1.33, is this the latest?
Cheers.

THREAD:262 ID:263RE:Missing file?...Hi,
Sorry for your troubles. There is no missing file, the archive you downloaded is the same archive renderosity sends out to all buyers. Perhaps your download is corrupted and needs redownloading...

About the license, i sent you a sitemail via renderosity. I take it you did not receive this email? Renderosity does not give me your email address which is how i generate your license key and send you a download link to the latest version. I will resend you a renderosity sitemail or you can email me the following: Your full name, email address and renderosity username. Once i have all this i can send you a key.

Thanks again and BTW, if PoserSpeak does not meet your expectations, i will issue you a full refund.

About voices, i have tried to made it as clear as possible in all the sales docs both on 3dtrue.com and on renderosity that i developed PoserSpeak, i do not develop Microsoft Voices, those are done by big big companies like AT&T and others. On the PoserSpeak page, there is a link to third party voice manufacturers whcih you may want to order from. Sorry if you felt misled on this point.

Hope this helps,
James

THREAD:262 ID:265Thanks...It's cool...you didn't mislead me, I was not clear in my own head what I was getting. When I wrote my first post I had just discovered I only had 'Microsoft Sam'on my Windows installation. Not exactly an inspiring voice :yuck: ; so I was a bit bummed. Oh well, I'm over it now and appreciate that I need to make a 2nd purchase. I will try the updated instal you sent and see if my glitch is fixed.
Thank you so much for your very prompt and polite reply...a rare thing, but most appreciated.

THREAD:262 ID:268RE:RE:Thanks...Thanks for the update! Glad you got it up-and-running. Here's the voices page i think the NeoSpeech voices are a great bargain starting out. Both Kate and Paul are nice quality at a good price. NeoSpeech
