Topic - 191 Support for new technology?

Support for new technology?...Anyone know if/when Poser will suport the following:

1. multi cpus
2. multi core cpus
3. multi threaded cpus
4. amd64/em64t architecturers
5. newer graphics accelleration technologies

Dual cpu machines have been around for years. Why does it take so long? Now all new cpus will be multi-core.

Don't expect Poser to ever do what Max and Maya do. The price difference alone should answer your question. Poser also was written in a deprecated GUI window system. Last i heard, they were still using it. This means, for Poser to improve, they would have to recreate it from the ground up. Hence why Curious Labs is coming out with other 3d apps instead. Long live Poser!
