THREAD:163 ID:163Frames Per Second...Hello,
I wonder how I can change the fps in Poserspeak. I use Poser for creating animations for the german PAL TV system which runs at 25 frames per second. Whenever I try to create anims using poserspeak the animation goes off sync because it is rendered in 30 fps no matter how my animations settings in Poser are set. Can this be changed?

BTW: I can't see any voices in the dropdown menu in the settings. I have got six different voices (from different professional sources) plus the original Microsoft voices. What can I do so that the voices are displayed in the selector?

regards
Stintfang

THREAD:163 ID:164RE:Frames Per Second...You can set the FPS for the speech by adjusting Poser's animation window FPS. PoserSpeak will match the FPS you set inside Poser. You should set the FPS in Poser first, then use PoserSpeak.

In Poser choose: Window > Animation Palette
In the Keyframes tab, set the rate to 24 instead of 30.

Your new voices may not be showing up in PoserSpeak due to the language your OS is using. You can either change the voice you want to use in Windows Start > Control Panels > Speech. Or set them manually in your PoserSpeak pref file. Here is a page explaining how to set them manually in the prefs file:
Set Voices Manually

Hope this helps,
James
